As with everything we always want the best for our clients.
When we first started looking into who, what and where we were going to get our drinks to serve, we thought about our travels from all over Europe to America to East Asia and back across and we thought actually what about right here in the UK!
We have on our door step an amazing selection of drinks from small UK independent artisan brewing and distillery companies all with amazingly delicious concoctions, experimenting with more then just your normal ingredients leading to some very interesting drinks.
There is literally so much to talk about when it comes to local produces, for this blog we are just going to talk about our choices in the ever developing world of Craft beer!
In the past beer has been portrayed within the media as a mans choice of beverage. However times have changed and we would love to help educate people to the amazing craft beer offerings the UK has inparticular. You may of heard people say “I don’t like Beer” which a few years ago would of been a perfectly acceptable comment due to the lack of variety – however now not only is there Czech-style pilsners and golden ales that pack a pint full of flavour with alcohol levels as low as 3.8% ABV, to porters, imperial stouts, zingy India pale ales (IPAs) and even now MIGHTY Double IPA’s with ABV’s averaging around 10%! So we challenge those that say ‘I don’t like beer’ with the simple argument... you just havent found the right one!
We have been tasting A LOT of beer - always a hard job, but someone has to do it – all in the name of research, to make sure we are providing the crème de la crème of the best artisan UK brewed beers – this is an ever changing field with new and exciting beers coming out all of the time! Here are just a couple of a favourites so far…

8 Arch Brewery – Beer is their obsession, just down the road from us in Wimborne, the guys only started 2 years ago and are already winning some prestigious awards for their beer, they use only the purest ingredients for their beer.
The Kernel – A London brewery who can only be best described in their own words - The brewery springs from the need to have more good beer. Beer deserving of a certain attention. Beer that forces you to confront and consider what you are drinking. Upfront hops, lingering bitternesses, warming alcohols, bodies of malt. Lengths and depths of flavour..
Brew By Numbers (BBNo.) – They provide beers which are the essence of craft brewery focusing on quality and drinkability, creating new styles and as the name suggests putting a number to each brew. First number is the style porter, IPA etc and the second is the recipe as we mentioned part of craft beers interesting selection is the ever changing recipe book
Brew Dog – Started back in 2007 one of the early craft beers have grown leaps and bounds from their humble beginnings and have made it all across the UK and beyond over to the Pond to the USA and also breaking into Europe – a great selection of beers with their flag ship “Punk IPA” their mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer.
Wild Beer Co – Their tag line is “Wildly different” and it sure is! From just down the road in Somerset this guys produce some really interesting craft beers, just to give you an idea one of their beers is a chocolate and salted caramel milk stout! (you have to try it to believe it).
